Centre for Expenditure Policy
The main responsibilities of the division are co-ordination of the budget process and the budget negotiations with local governments, central government expenditure policy, public finances, and social policy.
The division prepares the annual Budget Review and the three annual Budget Outlooks.
The division is also responsible for the budget of the Ministry of the Interior and Social Affairs with respect to welfare areas such as elderly, and childcare, disabled people, and socially excluded.
Finally the division is responsible for the contact to the Parliamentary Finance Committee.
