Centre for Environment, Energy, Climate, Food Production and Defence

The Centre is responsible for budget matters and policy related to the environment, climate, energy, including waterprotection, nature, agriculture, fisheries and defence.
Within these policy areas, the Centre deals with matters concerning the national budget, including budget preparation, budget reviews and expenditure analysis. Furthermore, the Center prepares decision proposals and implements the national budget in cooperation with the relevant ministries.

The Centre is responsible for monitoring the budgets of  the Ministry of Defence (§ 12), the Ministry of the Environment (§ 23), the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries (§ 24) and Ministry of Climate and Energy (§ 29).
